Quick answers to the most common questions:
I'm not getting push notifications
First, check iOS Settings → Notifications → ShowRing and make sure notifications are allowed. Then inside the app go to Settings → Notifications and confirm the alert types you want are turned on. Push notifications are only sent for classes, horses, or riders you have followed (tap the star) — a brand-new install with nothing followed will not receive anything.
My show isn't showing up
Pull down on the Shows list to refresh. Shows appear as each horse show onboards with us — if you don't see yours, it likely hasn't been published yet. Ask your show secretary to contact us and we'll get them set up.
The schedule looks wrong
Schedule times and class order come directly from the show's management. If you think something is incorrect — a class order, a time, a rider's name — the quickest fix is to tell the show secretary on-site. We can also update it from our end; message us below with the show name and what's wrong.
The app shows "Offline"
ShowRing caches everything locally, so you can keep reading the last known schedule even without service. As soon as you're back on cell or Wi-Fi, the app reconnects and refreshes automatically. If the banner stays up after you've confirmed you have service, force-quit the app and relaunch.
How do I delete my admin account?
Open the Info tab, scroll to Account, and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your email, role, and audit entries that identify you within 30 days. Broadcasts you sent remain visible to attendees but are attributed only to "Show Management." Attendee-only users don't have accounts at all — deleting the app is enough.
